DrivewearTM: Delighted or Exchanged Promotion

DrivewearTM is a prescription polarised sunglass lens which is activated by TransitionsTM and is designed to work behind the car windscreen. The Ideal wearer will be an existing TransitionsTM customer, a "professional driver" or will be unhappy with their conventionally tinted lenses because only polarised lenses will eliminate glare. DrivewearTM lenses can be sold all year round.
If your customers are not entirely delighted with the performance of DrivewearTM lenses then we will exchange them for a superb pair of Nu PolarTM Polarised lenses on a like for like basis & refund the difference. DrivewearTM was awarded best lens innovation & best marketing support at the OLA 2007.

The small print:
We need the Drivewear lenses returned before issuing a credit. Transmission fisgures are given as LTF. No rimless mounts. The promotion is offered through Five Towns, and is supported by Younger Optics in partnership with Taylor Optical Products and not Transitions Optical. The minimum fitting height for the Image progressive is 18mm. ( Minimum depth of frame 28mm)

Drivewear is olive/green in low light conditions and will darken to a copper colour behind the windscreen and darkening to a warm brown colour in direct sunlight. Instrument panels in cars ( sat navs, lcd displays) are governed by and industry wide code aligning the polarised filters at 45 degress.
Many labs offer and all-in glazing solution, however they tend to be quite restrictive allowing the use of certain lenses or 1 or 2 supplier’s frames.
