Service Introduction
At Five Towns we offer a complete service with work of the highest
quality.
All work in our lab is overseen by the three company directors. All
three are experienced technicians and work hands on within the lab.

Order
Tracking
Each individual job is placed in a bar coded tray and entered into the
computer system. This tray is exclusive to the job throughout its
production. The tray's movements within the lab are recorded, via a
number of tracking stations, and this means that we can find any job
quickly should a chase be required.
Stock
Lens Range
We have a very large stock lens range, including 55, 60 , 65, 70 and
75mm lenses. Some of these lenses to a 4 Cyl. This means that we can
often use a stock lens avoiding the cost of surfacing, a saving which is
passed on to you.

Key Aspects
It is important to note that all jobs where a frame is present, have the
frame scanned at order entry, and all centration details are added too.
This means that all calculations made on the order are based on complete
information, rather than surfaced work being produced simply to a
diameter. Many labs charge for this type of lens design, whereas at Five
Towns it is all part of the service.

Lens Surfacing
Our surfacing lab is equipped with some of the latest technologies
available to provide high quality uncut lenses, and to allow our glazed
work to really impress.
Lens Edging
High end machines controlled by experienced technicians makes a good
combination, and when you have a lens surfacing lab under the same roof
things just get better.

The most recent service added to our repertoire is the supply and glaze.
We offer a number of different frame ranges, at good discounts. Ranges
include Pennine, Ferucci and International Eyewear.
